Representative Director, CEO Yasuyuki Kawabata
Born in 1989 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, Yasuyuki Kawabata founded Branding Engineer Inc. (former company name) while pursuing graduate studies at The University of Electro-Communications, driven by a vision to enhance the value of engineers.
As Representative Director and CEO, he has led the Company's growth by spearheading new business development and strategic partnerships. Under his leadership, the Company was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market in July 2020. Following the transition to a holding company structure in June 2023, the Company was renamed TWOSTONE&Sons Inc.
Representative Director, COO Katsuya Takahara
Born in 1991 in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, Katsuya Takahara began programming in elementary school and independently developed and operated multiple web services.
While attending university, he gained experience in engineering, sales, and human resources at three startup companies before co-founding Branding Engineer Inc. (former company name) in 2013. As Representative Director and COO, he has driven the Company's growth by launching various businesses under an engineer-first philosophy. The Company was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market in July 2020 and transitioned to a holding company structure under the name TWOSTONE&Sons Inc. in June 2023.
Directors
Director, CFO Makoto Kato
Upon graduating from university, Makoto Kato began his career at a listed manufacturing company before joining a major confectionery manufacturer. He later accumulated extensive experience at several startup companies, where he was involved in building corporate administration functions, preparing for initial public offerings (IPO), and formulating capital strategies.
He joined TWOSTONE&Sons in 2019 as General Manager of the Internal Audit Office and Corporate Planning Office. He was appointed Executive Officer in May 2020 and played a key role in the Company's IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market in July of the same year. In May 2022, he became Senior Executive Officer overseeing the Corporate Strategy Division, and in November 2023 he was appointed Director and CFO.
Director Hajime Hasegawa
Born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, Hajime Hasegawa joined Vector Inc. as a founding member while attending Kwansei Gakuin University.
From the Company's early stages, he played a leading role in expanding its public relations business through to its public listing. He subsequently oversaw the Group's corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, digital transformation initiatives, and new business development. He also led business expansion in the PR and digital domains, supporting branding and marketing initiatives for companies in Japan and overseas.
After stepping down as Executive Vice President and Group COO of Vector Inc. in May 2025, he joined TWOSTONE&Sons as a Director in November 2025.
Director (Independent) Takashi Nagao (Part-time)
Since being admitted to the bar in 2010, Takashi Nagao has built his career as an attorney specializing in supporting startup companies. He built his career at AZX Professionals Group, where he became Partner in January 2015.
In 2018, he founded ProCommit Partners Law Office and joined Branding Engineer Inc. (now TWOSTONE&Sons Inc.) as a Director (Independent). A member of the Tokyo Bar Association, he has handled a broad range of legal matters for startup companies, including legal reviews of business models, drafting terms of use, fundraising, the issuance of stock options, M&A support, and assistance with the IPO review process.
His areas of expertise include information technology, healthcare, and robotics. In 2023, he was recognized by Nikkei as one of the lawyers most relied upon by startups.
Auditors
Full-time Auditor Satoshi Nakamura
Satoshi Nakamura joined Kinsho-Mataichi Corporation (currently Mitsubishi Corporation RtM Japan Ltd.) in 1980 and spent many years engaged in business operations and corporate management, primarily in corporate planning. He was appointed Director in June 2005.
Drawing on his extensive management experience, he has developed deep expertise in corporate strategy and organizational management. He joined Branding Engineer Inc. (now TWOSTONE&Sons Inc.) as an Outside Audit & Supervisory Board Member in 2021.
Since 2023, he has also served as Audit & Supervisory Board Member of Branding Engineer Inc. and TWOSTONE AIvita Inc. (formerly Digital Arrow Partners Inc.), contributing to stronger corporate governance and the oversight of the Directors' execution of duties through his broad management experience.
Auditor (Part-time) Masayuki Numata
After serving as a faculty member at Osaka University of Economics and Law, Masayuki Numata became Professor at the Faculty of Law, Hosei University, where he has devoted many years to research and education in labor law and social security law.
He has also served on numerous public committees, including the Chiba Prefectural Labor Relations Commission, the Kanagawa Labor Bureau Dispute Adjustment Commission, and advisory committees under Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
He joined Branding Engineer Inc. (now TWOSTONE&Sons Inc.) as an Outside Audit & Supervisory Board Member in 2018, contributing his extensive expertise in labor law and compliance to strengthen the Group's governance and audit framework.
Auditor (Part-time) Keisuke Asari
While attending university, Keisuke Asari joined a major audit firm, where he was engaged in audit and advisory services for listed companies as well as IPO support for private companies.
He later established his own CPA office while simultaneously serving as Director and CFO of an education technology startup, where he successfully led the company through an M&A transaction.
In 2015, he became CEO of the NEXPERT Group, and in 2020 transformed his practice into a tax corporation, serving as its Representative Partner.
He joined Branding Engineer Inc. (now TWOSTONE&Sons Inc.) as an Outside Audit & Supervisory Board Member in 2018. He currently provides accounting, tax, and management advisory services to more than 800 startup and growth-stage companies.
